  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.0625, 
  1.7   subdivision 9, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 9.  [DENTAL SERVICES.] Medical assistance covers 
  1.9   dental services.  Dental services include, with prior 
  1.10  authorization, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns for adults 
  1.11  and fixed cast metal restorations bridges that are 
  1.12  cost-effective for persons who cannot use removable dentures 
  1.13  because of their medical condition.
