  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; extending the nursing home 
  1.3             pass-through reimbursement; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 31.  [NURSING FACILITY PASS-THROUGH FOR LAUNDRY 
  1.10  FACILITY.] Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, any 
  1.11  nursing home in St. Louis county that owns and operates its own 
  1.12  laundry facility shall also be eligible for the nursing home 
  1.13  pass-through reimbursement under this section and section 
  1.14  256B.421 for employees working in the laundry facility.  This 
  1.15  provision is not restricted to laundry facilities that are 
  1.16  located exclusively within the nursing home.
