  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; providing a rate increase 
  1.3             for a nursing facility; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.4             1998, section 256B.434, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 256B.434, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 4a.  [BECKER COUNTY FACILITY RATE INCREASE.] For the 
  1.9   rate year beginning July 1, 1999, in addition to the inflation 
  1.10  increase provided for in subdivision 4, a nursing facility in 
  1.11  Becker county licensed for 102 nursing home beds on September 
  1.12  30, 1998, shall receive an increase of $1.95 in its case mix 
  1.13  class A payment rate; an increase of $1.99 in its case mix class 
  1.14  B payment rate; an increase of $2.04 in its case mix class C 
  1.15  payment rate; an increase of $2.08 in its case mix class D 
  1.16  payment rate; an increase of $2.13 in its case mix class E 
  1.17  payment rate; an increase of $2.13 in its case mix class F 
  1.18  payment rate; an increase of $2.17 in its case mix class G 
  1.19  payment rate; an increase of $2.24 in its case mix class H 
  1.20  payment rate; an increase of $2.27 in its case mix class I 
  1.21  payment rate; an increase of $2.31 in its case mix class J 
  1.22  payment rate; and an increase of $2.39 in its case mix class K 
  1.23  payment rate.  The increases provided under this subdivision 
  1.24  shall be included in the facility's total payment rates for the 
  1.25  purpose of determining future rates under this section or any 
  2.1   other section.
