A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring Department of Natural Resources to remove
snow from forest roads in certain circumstances; amending Minnesota Statutes
2018, section 89.71, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 89.71, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The commissioner must remove snow from a state forest road,
including a minimum maintenance forest road, at the request of one or more residents who
use the road during winter. Nothing in this section is to be construed to amend or abrogate
section 160.095, subdivision 4.
