  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             grants for pilot programs in school districts for 
  1.4             integrated service models for children's mental health.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PILOTS FOR INTEGRATED SERVICES FOR CHILDREN'S 
  1.7   MENTAL HEALTH.] 
  1.8      $1,500,000 is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 
  1.9   2003, to the commissioner of children, families, and learning 
  1.10  for up to three pilot programs in school districts.  The 
  1.11  programs are for integrated service models for children's mental 
  1.12  health.  The programs must be collaborative efforts with the 
  1.13  county and one or more school districts.  At least one of the 
  1.14  programs must involve one or more metropolitan counties in whole 
  1.15  or substantial part, as metropolitan county is defined in 
  1.16  Minnesota Statutes, section 473.121, subdivision 4, and at least 
  1.17  one program must not involve any metropolitan counties.
