A bill for an act
relating to liquor; permitting coupons and other forms of payment for liquor
purchases; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 340A.5071.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 340A.5071, is amended to read:

this section, a "merchant rewards incentive" is a card, certificate, or enrollment in a program
that is furnished to a customer for loyalty, promotional, award, incentive, rebate, or other
similar purposes without any money or other tangible thing of value being given by the
customer in exchange for the card, certificate, or enrollment in the program.
