A bill for an act
relating to game and fish; allowing veterans 70 years of age or older to hunt and
fish for free; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97A.441, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97A.441, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

A person authorized to issue
licenses must issue, without a fee, a license to take big game, small game, or fish to a resident
who is a veteran, as defined in section 197.447, and who is 70 years of age or older.
