  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [LABOR DAY START; BUFFALO.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120A.40, for 
  1.8   the 2001-2002 school year and thereafter, independent school 
  1.9   district No. 877, Buffalo, may start the school year on any day 
  1.10  before Labor Day.
