A bill for an act
 relating to state government; providing for revenue from legislative public
information publications and from legislative media productions; appropriating
money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 3.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

PRODUCTIONS.

new text begin (a) The house of representatives and the senate must:

new text begin (1) solicit paid advertising in weekly news magazines published by legislative
staff; and
 new text end

new text begin (2) accept donations and solicit sponsorships for media productions that provide the
public access to legislative proceedings.

new text begin (b) Revenue received by the house of representatives and senate under this section is
appropriated to the house of representatives or the senate, as applicable.
