A bill for an act
 relating to public safety; delineating uses of data in the comprehensive
incident-based reporting system; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section
299C.40, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 299C.40, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

Purpose.

CIBRS is a statewide system containing data from law
enforcement agencies. Data in CIBRS must be made available to law enforcement

process;
