A bill for an act
 relating to game and fish; exempting certain shelters from ice house identification
requirements; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97C.355, subdivision
1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97C.355, subdivision 1, is amended to read:


Subdivision 1.

Identification required.

new text begin (a) new text end All shelters on the ice of state waters, except
portable shelters under subdivision 2a but including dark houses and fish houses, must have:
(1) the owner's name and address, (2) the owner's driver's license number, or (3) the
"MDNR#" license identification number issued to the owner legibly displayed on the exterior
with characters at least two inches high.

is registered under section 168.013.
