  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the operation and maintenance of Como Park zoo and 
  1.4             conservatory. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [COMO PARK ZOO AND CONSERVATORY OPERATION 
  1.7   GRANTS.] 
  1.8      $1,900,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $1,900,000 in fiscal 
  1.9   year 2003 are appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.10  commissioner of natural resources for transfer to the 
  1.11  metropolitan council to pay operation and maintenance expenses 
  1.12  at the Como Park zoo and conservatory.  The appropriations are 
  1.13  available until June 30, 2003.
