A bill for an act
relating to state government; requiring users of electric vehicle charging stations
on the State Capitol complex to pay for the electricity consumed by the vehicle;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 16B.24, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 16B.24, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

The commissioner shall require that a user of a
charging station located on the State Capitol complex used to charge a private electric
vehicle pay for the electricity consumed by that vehicle.
