  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to family; appropriating money for the family 
  1.3             asset program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.6      $3,318,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of children, families, and learning for the 
  1.8   biennium ending June 30, 2001, for a grant to the Ramsey Action 
  1.9   Program to provide matching grants to fiduciary organizations 
  1.10  for the family asset program under Laws 1998, First Special 
  1.11  Session chapter 1, article 1, sections 6 to 12, and to provide 
  1.12  coaching services for families participating in the family asset 
  1.13  program.  Any balance remaining after the first year does not 
  1.14  cancel, but is available in the second year.
