A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for continued renovation and
expansion of the American Indian Center in Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $2,600,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to
the Minneapolis American Indian Center for the same purposes and subject to the same
requirements as Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 1, section 21, subdivision 17. This
appropriation is not available until the commissioner of management and budget determines
that at least an equal amount has been committed to complete the project from nonstate
sources.
