  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; modifying the profile of 
  1.3             learning. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [PROFILE OF LEARNING; FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND 
  1.6   INVESTMENT.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Rules, part 3501.0449, 
  1.8   subpart 4, in learning area nine of the profile of learning, 
  1.9   personal and family resource management shall be referred to as 
  1.10  personal and family financial management and investment. 
  1.11     (b) Notwithstanding Minnesota Rules, part 3501.0330, 
  1.12  subparts 1 and 3, to be eligible for high school graduation, a 
  1.13  student must complete three content standards from learning area 
  1.14  nine, resource management, that must include personal and family 
  1.15  financial management and investment under Minnesota Rules, part 
  1.16  3501.0449, subpart 4.
