  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             repair and restore the aerial lift bridge in Duluth. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [DULUTH AERIAL LIFT BRIDGE.] 
  1.6      $750,000 in fiscal year 2000 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of trade and economic 
  1.8   development for a grant to the city of Duluth for repair and 
  1.9   restoration of the aerial lift bridge.  This appropriation is a 
  1.10  one-time appropriation and is not to be added to the 
  1.11  department's budget base.
