A bill for an act
relating to public safety; appropriating money for disaster preparedness and
relief efforts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$75,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010, and $75,000 for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2011, are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of public
safety for disaster preparedness and relief services. This money may be used directly by
the Department of Public Safety or to provide a grant to an outside organization.
