  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; defining terms relating to 
  1.3             alcoholic beverage concentration; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 2000, section 169A.03, by adding subdivisions.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 169A.03, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 1a.  [ALCOHOL BY VOLUME.] "Alcohol by volume" means 
  1.9   milliliters of alcohol per 100 milliliters of beverage. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 169A.03, is 
  1.11  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.12     Subd. 1b.  [ALCOHOL BY WEIGHT.] "Alcohol by weight" means 
  1.13  grams of alcohol per 100 grams of beverage.
