  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; amending the definition 
  1.3             of agricultural land for the purpose of the recreation 
  1.4             trespass law; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.5             section 97B.001, subdivision 1. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 97B.001, 
  1.8   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [AGRICULTURAL LAND DEFINITION 
  1.10  DEFINITIONS.] (a) For purposes of this section, "agricultural 
  1.11  land" means land: 
  1.12     (1) that is plowed or tilled; 
  1.13     (2) that has standing crops or crop residues; or 
  1.14     (3) within a maintained fence for enclosing domestic 
  1.15  livestock.  
  1.16     (b) For purposes of this section, "crops or crop residues" 
  1.17  includes hay or grass grown for wildlife conservation or feed 
  1.18  purposes.
