A bill for an act
relating to employment; appropriating money for a grant to a nonprofit
organization to work on behalf of licensed vendors to coordinate responses to
solicitations or other requests and to increase employment opportunities for
persons with disabilities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a
grant to a nonprofit organization that works on behalf of all licensed vendors to coordinate
their efforts to respond to solicitations or other requests from private and governmental
units as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 471.59, subdivision 1, in order to increase
employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Any amount not expended in
fiscal year 2010 is available in fiscal year 2011.
