  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to drainage; providing for ditch maintenance. 
  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [JUDICIAL DITCH #2.] 
  1.5      (a) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no state 
  1.6   permit is required for the maintenance and repair of Judicial 
  1.7   Ditch #2 in Washington county. 
  1.8      (b) The board of water and soil resources must recognize 
  1.9   the exemptions in Minnesota Statutes, section 103G.2241, for the 
  1.10  maintenance and repair of Judicial Ditch #2 in the same 
  1.11  condition as originally established. 
  1.12     (c) Rice creek watershed district must complete the 
  1.13  maintenance and repair of Judicial Ditch #2 by legal means to 
  1.14  the official profile no later than July 1, 2004.
