A bill for an act
relating to health; appropriating money for regional emergency medical services
programs.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin REGIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAMS.

$800,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Emergency Medical Services
Regulatory Board in fiscal year 2008 for regional emergency medical services programs, to
be distributed equally to the eight emergency medical service regions. This amount shall
be added to the base funding. Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 144E.50, 100
percent of the appropriation shall be passed on to the emergency medical service regions.
