A bill for an act
relating to public safety; appropriating money to the commissioner of public
safety for grants to local law enforcement agencies for the purchase of
defibrillators.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, from the general
fund to the commissioner of public safety for grants to local law enforcement agencies
in counties other than metropolitan counties, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section
473.121, subdivision 4, for the purpose of purchasing defibrillators.
