  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; increasing reimbursement 
  1.3             rates for certain services. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [PERSONAL CARE SERVICES RATE INCREASE.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, personal care 
  1.7   attendants providing services under Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.8   256B.0625, subdivision 19a, 256B.0627, subdivision 4, and 
  1.9   256B.0913, subdivision 5, shall be reimbursed at $10 per hour 
  1.10  and shall be reimbursed for mileage spent traveling to clients' 
  1.11  homes.  Mileage reimbursement shall be at 31 cents per mile 
  1.12  after the first 15 miles spent in travel daily.  The standard 
  1.13  mileage rate for transportation expenses shall be adjusted 
  1.14  according to the Internal Revenue Service guidelines.
