 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for aquatic invasive species
grants; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 84D.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin $900,000 each fiscal year is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
natural resources for grants to lake associations, watershed districts, cities, and counties to
control Eurasian watermilfoil, curly-leaf pondweed, and flowering rush under an invasive
aquatic plant management permit.
