  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to public safety; appropriating money for 
  1.3             fire code position in the state fire marshal division. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $120,000 is appropriated for the fiscal biennium ending 
  1.7   June 30, 2001, from the general fund to the commissioner of 
  1.8   public safety for a fire code development and training position 
  1.9   in the state fire marshal division.  The permanent complement of 
  1.10  the division is increased by one position.
