A bill for an act
relating to construction codes; requiring certificates of occupancy to be issued
within two business days; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 326B.142.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 326B.142, is amended to read:

that date.

(b) A building inspector must issue a certificate of occupancy under Minnesota Rules,
part 1300.0220, subpart 5, within two business days of the final inspection.
