  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of children, families, and learning for the 
  1.9   biennium ending June 30, 2001, for purposes of the emergency 
  1.10  services grant program under Laws 1997, chapter 162, article 3, 
  1.11  section 7. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.13     $7,256,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.14  commissioner of children, families, and learning for the 
  1.15  biennium ending June 30, 2001, for purposes of transitional 
  1.16  housing programs under Minnesota Statutes, section 119A.43.
