  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for 
  1.3             grant to Northstar corridor joint powers authority for 
  1.4             planning and designing commuter rail station in 
  1.5             Fridley. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; FRIDLEY COMMUTER RAIL STATION.] 
  1.8      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.9   year 2000 to the commissioner of transportation.  The 
  1.10  commissioner shall spend this appropriation as a grant to the 
  1.11  Northstar corridor joint powers authority for the planning and 
  1.12  design of a commuter rail station along the Northstar rail 
  1.13  corridor in the city of Fridley between 37th Avenue Northeast 
  1.14  and 50th Avenue Northeast.
