A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for the Minnesota
Conservation Corps.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA CONSERVATION CORPS; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $2,290,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $2,290,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated to
the Minnesota Conservation Corps for the youth and young adult training programs. Of
the amount appropriated, $1,800,000 each year is from the general fund and $490,000
each year is from the natural resources fund. The Minnesota Conservation Corps may
receive money appropriated from the natural resources fund under this section only as
provided in an agreement with the commissioner of natural resources.
