A bill for an act
relating to human services; creating an exception to
the intermediate care facility for persons with mental
retardation and related conditions payment system;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.5012,
by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.5012, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin For the rate year
beginning July 1, 2005, a six-bed facility located in Atwater
and licensed as an intermediate care facility for persons with
mental retardation and related conditions shall receive an
incremental increase in rates of $28.23 per person per calendar
day above the rate in effect on June 30, 2005.
