A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; creating fee exemption for utility license crossing
public lands and waters in existing public road right-of-way; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 84.415, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 84.415, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A utility license for crossing
public lands or public waters is exempt from all fees specified in this section and in rules
adopted under this section when the utility crossing is on an existing right-of-way of
a public road.
