  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a new 
  1.3             facility for Pine Point school and for a community 
  1.4             center. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $9,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the department of children, families, and 
  1.9   learning for the Pine Point school.  Of this amount, $8,000,000 
  1.10  must be used for a new facility serving grades kindergarten 
  1.11  through eight and $1,000,000 must be used for remodeling the 
  1.12  current facility into a community center.
