  1.3             ambulance service; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.4             section 256B.0625, subdivision 17a. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.0625, 
  1.7   subdivision 17a, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 17a.  [PAYMENT FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES.] Effective for 
  1.9   services rendered on or after July 1, 1999 2001, medical 
  1.10  assistance payments for ambulance services shall be increased by 
  1.11  five percent paid at the Medicare reimbursement rate for 
  1.12  ambulance service.
