  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the operation and maintenance of the metropolitan 
  1.4             regional parks system. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $4,000,000 in fiscal year 2004 and $4,000,000 in fiscal 
  1.8   year 2005 are appropriated to the commissioner of natural 
  1.9   resources for grants to the metropolitan council for maintenance 
  1.10  and operation of the metropolitan area regional parks.
