  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             state park and recreation area acquisition; 
  1.4             authorizing the sale of state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [STATE PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [ACQUISITION.] $4,000,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural 
  1.10  resources for acquisition from willing sellers of private lands 
  1.11  within state park and recreation area boundaries established by 
  1.12  law.  The commissioner shall determine project priorities as 
  1.13  appropriate based upon need. 
  1.14     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.15  this section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.16  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.17  to $4,000,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.18  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.19  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
