  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 168.1291, 
  1.9   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.10     Subdivision 1.  [DEFINITION.] For purposes of this section 
  1.11  "special license plates" means license plates issued under 
  1.12  sections 168.12, subdivisions 2b to 2e; 168.123, other than 
  1.13  plates issued under subdivision 2, paragraph (e); 168.1235; and 
  1.14  168.129.
