A bill for an act
 relating to capital improvements; appropriating money to construct flood
protection farmstead ring levees in the Red River watershed.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin FLOOD PROTECTION FARMSTEAD RING LEVEES;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $236,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $236,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources to assist the Red River
Watershed Management Board and watershed districts in constructing flood protection
farmstead ring levees in the Red River watershed. If the appropriation for either year is
insufficient, the appropriation for the other year is available for it.
