  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the city of Robbinsdale; extending the 
  1.3             duration limit of a tax increment financing district. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.7   section 469.176, subdivision 1c, tax increment may be paid until 
  1.8   June 30, 2001, for the tax increment financing district 
  1.9   designated as Project 4 in the city of Robbinsdale.  Minnesota 
  1.10  Statutes, section 469.1782, does not apply to this extension of 
  1.11  the duration limit. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     This section is effective the day following final 
  1.14  enactment, and after approval by the governing body of the city 
  1.15  of Robbinsdale and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.16  645.021, subdivision 3.
