  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [161.366] [TRUNK HIGHWAY CONTRACT; EXPRESSING 
  1.9   MEASUREMENT.] 
  1.10     All plans, specifications, and other documents relating to 
  1.11  contracts for the construction, improvement, or repair of trunk 
  1.12  highways offered for bid on and after July 1, 1999, must express 
  1.13  measurements in the English system of measurement only. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1999.
