  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for 
  1.3             loan repayment from municipal state-aid street fund. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 162.12, 
  1.7   subdivision 1, and 162.13, subdivision 1, $150,000 in fiscal 
  1.8   years 2002 to 2022 are appropriated from the municipal state-aid 
  1.9   street fund to the commissioner of transportation to offset the 
  1.10  loan repayments due or to become due from the city of Newport to 
  1.11  the transportation revolving loan fund for right-of-way and 
  1.12  construction costs related to the Wakota bridge reconstruction 
  1.13  project.  These amounts must be deducted from the apportionment 
  1.14  sum before the remainder of the total sum is apportioned under 
  1.15  Minnesota Statutes, section 162.13, subdivision 1.
