  1.1                          A bill for an act

  1.3             angling lines; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.4             section 97C.315, subdivision 1. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 97C.315, 
  1.7   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [LINES.] An angler may not use more than 
  1.9   one line except: 
  1.10     (1) two lines may be used to take fish through the ice; and 
  1.11     (2) the commissioner may, by rule, authorize the use of two 
  1.12  lines in areas designated by the commissioner in Lake Superior.
