  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 3.012, is 
  1.7   amended to read: 
  1.8      3.012 [LEGISLATIVE DAY.] 
  1.9      A legislative day is a day when either house of the 
  1.10  legislature is called to order.  A legislative day begins at 
  1.11  seven o'clock a.m. and continues until seven ten o'clock 
  1.12  a.m. p.m. of the following same calendar day.
