  1.4             in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 103E. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [103E.709] [PERMIT REQUIRED FOR CLEANING 
  1.7   DRAINAGE SYSTEM.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or 
  1.9   chapter 103G, the only permit required to clean a drainage 
  1.10  system is a permit under section 404 of the federal Clean Water 
  1.11  Act, United States Code, title 33, section 1344, to the extent 
  1.12  that cleaning the drainage system does not constitute a repair 
  1.13  or improvement.
