  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing the city of Marshall 
  1.3             to issue additional on-sale licenses. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CITY OF MARSHALL; LIQUOR LICENSES.] 
  1.6      The city of Marshall may issue five on-sale intoxicating 
  1.7   liquor licenses in addition to the number authorized by law.  
  1.8   All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not 
  1.9   inconsistent with this section, apply to the licenses authorized 
  1.10  under this section. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective upon approval by the Marshall city 
  1.13  council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
