  1.3             from angling license requirement; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 1998, section 97A.451, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 97A.451, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 8.  [RESIDENTS OVER AGE 65; ANGLING WITH YOUTHS.] A 
  1.10  resident age 65 or over may take fish by angling without a 
  1.11  license when accompanying a resident under the age of 16 who is 
  1.12  also angling.
