A bill for an act
relating to game and fish; modifying firearm possession restrictions while
taking deer by archery; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 97B.211,
subdivision 1.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 97B.211, subdivision 1, is amended to read:
Subdivision 1.
Possession of firearms prohibited.

by archery while in possession of a firearm.

(b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a person carrying a handgun in compliance
with section 624.714.
