The sums shown in the columns marked "Appropriations" are appropriated from
the general fund to the agencies and for the purposes specified in this act, to be available
for the fiscal year indicated for each purpose, and are added to appropriations in Laws
2007, chapters 54 and 147. The figure "2009," where used in this act, means that the
appropriation or appropriations listed under it are available for the year ending June 30,
2009.

This appropriation is to provide a match for
Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) disaster assistance payments under
Minnesota Statutes, section 12.221. This is a
onetime appropriation.

This appropriation is added to the
appropriation in Laws 2007, chapter
147, article 19, section 3, subdivision 10,
paragraph (b), for Minnesota Sex Offender
Services. This is a onetime appropriation.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.152, subdivision 2, any positive
unrestricted general fund balance on June 30, 2009, is carried forward in the general
fund to fiscal year 2010.
