A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; requiring the Metropolitan Council to provide special
transportation service in Lakeville; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE IN LAKEVILLE.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 473.386, subdivision 3, paragraph (i), the
Metropolitan Council must provide special transportation service in the city of Lakeville.
Special transportation service in the city of Lakeville must be integrated with special
transportation service offered in the transit taxing district as defined in Minnesota Statutes,
section 473.446, subdivision 2.

new text begin $927,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,001,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Metropolitan Council for purposes of providing the service required
in section 1.
